Could the last guy with the shorts, who handled the recoil of the gun well, fired a different, less powerful gun? Note, I’m no gun expert but the last guy was using a different looking rifle to the rest of the other guys because his rifle had a darker wood and a chrome plated bolt (is that what you call it?).
