Left the church a while ago and don't intend to go back, but I really enjoyed this video. It perfectly captured the bland, wealth-laden irrelevance of the suburban churches I attended throughout my life. More than a few could have doubled as country clubs, but at least the country clubs didn't pretend to be humble or preach at you about poverty in Christ. Javaluyah!

Whats intoresting is that alot of christians do hang out at starbucks, it's like a single christian meating place. I figured this out by walking in with my bad religion crossbuster t-shirt and they were all looking at me funny. As for churches, well they all have there rules and dogmatic ideals, the last church I went was agienst freethought and ratinal scientific reasoning ( anti-intellectualism). I support evolution, but it seems like traditinal theology is agienst it!

@beyondrelevance God is no where to be found in church, and certainly not in Christian ones.

This video is probably conceptualized by a business-oriented person who never read his bible. What if the church is marketted like starbucks?????

I can't help but thinking - of course a coffee shop run like a church would suck: coffee chops and churches aren't the same thing...

It's good to take a step away from what is seen from the inside of the church and see how others might be viewing it.....if we can't do this we will never reach those who are thirsty for the truth and it's relevance to their lives. Thanks for the video, loved it!

@Neekali77 Then you have the other end of the spectrum (like in many churches here in Sw), where you can go to a new church, sit through the whole service, walk out, and no one will have noticed you and that you've never been there before.
